About Summit Refcomp

Summit Refcomp was formed to import, assemble, distribute and service the Refcomp family of refrigeration compressors in the Australia and Oceanic region.

Summit Refrigeration Products began as a compressor manufacturing and rebuilding company over 45 years ago and has manufactured and repaired under license at different times for Chrysler and Carrier as well as manufacturing the Summit brand of hermetic, semi-hermetic, and belt driven reciprocating compressors.

Summit Refrigeration Products has spent the last few years designing and building water chillers with Matsu Chilling Systems for use in air conditioning and industrial process applications. More information on Summit Matsu Chilling Systems can be found at www.matsu.com.au

RefComp began manufacturing refrigeration compressors in 1991 with the express purpose of efficient, technologically advanced refrigeration compressors for the air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration markets. From the beginning The Refcomp continued focus on energy conservation has led to the highest possible compression efficiency, length of service life, lowest possible sound emissions, use of "ozone friendly refrigerants" and quality of customer service. 

RefComp is ISO9001 and TUV certified, and with production facilities at over 20,000m2, well equipped to manufacture in-house and maintain quality control over all major compressor components
